Rowupdating which wasn t

The button is associated with the Command Name property as “Edit”.The Grid View is associated with the On Row Command event. Some other Grid Views reserved key words and their default associated events are as follow : “Cancel” – Raises the Row Canceling Edit event.“Delete” – Raises the Row Deleting and Row Deleted events. “Page” – Raises the Page Index Changing and Page Index Changed events. As our code does not handle those events hence they throw an exception. So when we change the Command Name property of the buttons to some other text then it will work fine.I have tried renaming the event as some suggest but get the same result. Hi all, I have a gridview where edit & delete are in one template column with names Edit & Delete...

In the event handler function I have checked for the Command Name property and write necessary code for each of the actions.

I am using a Gridview with the On ROWCOMMAND to handle all update operations.

When a row is update the ONROWCOMMAND is performed but I am getting an error message saying "The Grid View 'dgd_Alerts' fired event Row Updating which wasn't handled." Why do I need an event for the On ROWUPDATING and how I can prevent this message from appearing?

I have a Grid View bound to a Data Table which comes from a database.

My goal is to update the one row at the time with a button which is in the same row which calls the following Method.
